HYDROGEN FUEL CELL
Entry for a 2021 hydrogen design challenge. Created as a replacement for expiring diesel generators in northern Canada. Modeled in Fusion360, rendered in blender, and uploaded to GRABCAD for anyone to download and improve on.
Clean energy BC
1:250 scale model of the Corra Linn Dam. The model was created from over 3,000 blueprints for the 1930’s era facility.
This watertight model was used for dive analysis, emergency planning, employee training, and planning for future upgrades.
LIVE EDGE TURNTABLE
Live-edge turntable. Doubles as a bluetooth speaker
Lidar puck mount for a surveying drone. Designed in Fusion360, and printed out of nylon. Weight distribution, lidar visibility, and size limitations made this a challenging design project.
Carbon fibre prosthetic arm attachment for a kayak paddle. The attachment matches the user’s wrist length, and allows for the same lateral and rotational movement.

PRV Microhydro station
A micro hydro project, built out of recycled sea cans and small scale Pelton turbines. The PRV station is designed to help phase out the large amount of diesel generators used throughout northern Canada.
A large 3D printed scale model of an eight storey furnace in the Kootenays. This model is used for shutdown planning and employee training.
Each one of the 250pices is magnetic, and can be taken apart easily.
This ladder rack was designed from scratch using AutoCAD and Fusion360. Built using waterjet cutouts, extruded aluminum rails commonly found on CNC machines.
Burning Man 2019
This 8ft popup book was built for Burning Man 2019. The entire book and gazebo had to be collapsable to make the journey down to Nevada. Our team consisted of 8 people.
This 48v 42ah universal battery pack was created out of two E-bike batteries. It can output the full 48v, or step down to 12v, and includes usb chargers. The two cell setup allows solar panels to charge one cell, while the other cell outputs.
TIG welding and waterjet. These two tool caddies were built as part of a level 1 machinist course. Both were designed in Fusion360, and cut out of a sheet of 1/8th aluminum.
LIVE EDGE DESK
Cedar slab with aluminum edges. Slab was machined flat on a Shopbot CNC, and aluminum edges were cut on a plasma table. Plasma toolpathing was part of the machinist level 1.

This cast was designed for the hind leg of a German Shepherd, and was printed in a nylon rubber composite.The material is more breathable and lighter than a plaster cast

Second year capstone project. Study of modeling, storyboarding, texturing, animation, lighting, rendering, sound design, and post processing effects, using a 3D modeled spacecraft.

Built for VR flight simulator games. Adjustable armrests and back position.
The seat was cut on a 4x8ft CNC machine.
An experiment in building a wiring harness from the ground up. Using spare E-bike batteries, this kayak has been converted to electric. 100km range, adjustable steering and throttle control.
